On July 6, 2021, EUROCOC (the market leader in providing European Certificates of Conformity) participated at the Used Car Conference (EMVO) at the Pavillon Dauphine in Paris. The tenth edition of this unique French conference, which brings together the largest players in second-hand car market, focused on the emergence of second-hand plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. About 300 participants enjoyed meeting in person under strict security measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first part of the symposium was dedicated to automotive specialists who were taught by experts in the used vehicle industry. Second-hand electric vehicles have been chosen as the priority theme. The statistics on volume of second-hand electric vehicles and second-hand hybrid vehicles by country demonstrated the importance of this subject and amazed the professional public. Other analyses were not so surprising, for example the one covering the TOP 20 of the electric and hybrid vehicles was won by Renault Zoe and Toyota Yaris.

The second part of the event was dedicated to networking among professionals. They had opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues and simultaneously, with many exhibitors.

Finally, Journal de l’Automobile Magazine awarded four prizes to honour initiatives taken by second-hand vehicle distributors, be it independent car dealers or distribution groups.

The four EMVO trophies :

Innovation Award B2B: Groupe Sofipel

Remarketing Award: 1807 Lacharette

Prix Animation réseau: Audi France

Online Reputation Award: Peugeot Villefranche-sur-Saône

For EUROCOC, this conference presented an opportunity to acquire new customers and deepen the relationship with the loyal ones. EUROCOC with their European Certificates of Conformity for second-hand car professionals participated for the first, but certainly not for the last time.

Special thanks to Journal de l’Automobile Magazine for organizing this special event👌🏻! See you next year!
