    Hi, i am enquiring about a nissan Car that was purchased in the Singapore but never registered. Is it still possible to get a COC if the car was never registered as it needs to be imported into Ireland?

      Let me inform you that the certificate of conformity is a European document issued exclusively for vehicles produced for and marketed in the countries of the European Union.
      Since your vehicle has been imported from Singapore, it did not comply, at the time of production, with the European standards and thus there is no certificate of conformity.
      To get more information about how you should proceed in your case, we would recommend you get in touch with the local authorities in the country of the next registration. They should be able to advise you about how to get the necessary documents for registration of your car there. Usually, the vehicle must be fitted to the EU norms first and then undergo an individual vehicle approval by the competent Approval Authorities.
